New Mother and Child Health Care MCH Opened

Hamar-Lagu-Hidh (23.09.2011) Sahan International Relief Association and its local partners with the support of UNICEF opened a new Mother and Child Health Care (MCH) in Hamar-Lagu-Hidh district in Ain region (Buhodle). The objectives of the Health Care post is to help the mothers and children living in Hamar-lagu-Hidh and neighbouring areas.


Sahan International Relief Association ry executive committee would like to thank Finland Foreign Ministry who supports the Somali people including this project, also Sahan send its thanks to the Buhodle health care professionals who supported also this project, and also our local partners who had taken a lions share to implement this project.


Hamar-lagu-Hidh MCH service is free and it is for all people specially pregnant women and children living in Hamar-lagu-hidh and surrounding area. It is the first health care center established in this town for ever, even the Somalia government did not open any health care center in this area.


We hope the Hamar-lagu-Hidh Community will benefit and also support the ongoing of the project.
